Aquacel Ag Foam dressing how to use?

  1. Positioning: Hold the dressing over the wound and align the center of the dressing with the center of the wound. Place the dressing directly onto the wound.

  2. Application: Ensure the dressing is not stretched during application. Smooth down the adhesive borders.

  3. Securing: Use a suitable retention bandage or tape to secure the dressing in place if it does not have an adhesive border or if the adhesive dressing has been cut.

  4. Disposal: Discard any unused portion of the product after dressing the wound.

Changing the Dressing

  • The dressing should be changed when clinically necessary (e.g., leakage, bleeding, or increased pain). The maximum recommended wear time is up to seven days.

  • The wound should be cleaned at appropriate intervals.

  • Removal: Gently press down on the skin and carefully lift one corner of the dressing. Continue until all edges are free.
