Leponex tablets 100mg is used in the treatment of serious cases of schizophrenia that other antipsychotics have failed to treat, containing the active substance clozapine. • Leponex is used alone or with other medications to treat bipolar symptoms.

Contraindications to the use of leponex 100

Do not use leponex 100 pills in the following cases:

• The incidence of agranulocytosis.

• Injury with paralytic ileus.

• The incidence of myeloproliferative disorders.

How to use leponex 100 pills

The doses of leponex 100 pills vary depending on the pathological condition as follows:

Schizophrenia

• The dosage starts with 12.5 mg once or twice a day.

• The dose increases by an average of 25-50 mg per day.

• Required dosage: 300-450 mg per day.

• Maximum daily dose: 900 mg.

Treatment-resistant bipolar disorder

• The dosage starts with 25 mg per day.

• The dose increases by an average of 25 mg each time.

• Maximum dose: 550 mg per day.

• The usual daily dose: 100-300 mg per day.

Psychosis in Parkinson's patients

• The dosage starts with 6.25 mg per day.

• The dose increases by an average of 6.25 or 12.5 mg every 3-7 days.

• Maximum dose: 50 mg per day.
