Mirena Hormonal Intrauterine Device (IUD) Levonorgestrel 20 mcg/24h – 1 Piece is placed inside the uterus by a doctor. It slowly releases a low dose of levonorgestrel directly into the uterus every day to prevent pregnancy for up to 8 years.
Indications for Mirena Loop 20 Mcg 24 Hours
Mirena is used for:

Contraception for up to 8 years

Treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding of unknown cause for up to 5 years, for those who can use an IUD. It is not used for girls who have not reached puberty or have not had their first menstrual period, nor for women over 65 years old.
Contraindications for Mirena IUD
Mirena should not be used in cases of:
