Ferosac Ingredients
Each 5 ml ampoule contains 100 mg of Iron (III) (as Iron Sucrose complex / Ferric Hydroxide Sucrose), which works to restore iron levels in the blood.
Ferosac Uses
Ferosac injections are used for iron deficiency cases that require rapid and effective replenishment, particularly in the following instances:

Severe iron deficiency (e.g., post-hemorrhage).

Intolerance or inability to take oral iron supplements.

Ferosac Injection How to Use?

Day 1: 2.5 ml (50 mg of iron).

Day 2: 5 ml (100 mg of iron).

Day 3: 10 ml (200 mg of iron).

Maintenance: 10 ml twice weekly, depending on hemoglobin levels.

Effectiveness: Administering 100 mg of Iron (III) (one 5 ml ampoule) helps boost hemoglobin levels by 2% – 3% (and 2% during pregnancy).
