Anamix Neutral GA1 Infant Milk 400g is lysine-free and low-tryptophan, specifically designed for infants with Glutaric Aciduria Type 1 to prevent the accumulation of harmful substances in the brain and body that may hinder the child's growth.
Uses of Anamix infant GA1 Milk
Anamix GA1 is a lysine-free and low-tryptophan powder formula containing essential and non-essential amino acids.
It is intended for the dietary management of Glutaric Aciduria Type 1 in infants from birth to 12 months, and as a supplementary feed up to 3 years of age.
Glutaric Aciduria Type 1 is a rare hereditary metabolic disorder; it prevents the normal breakdown of protein, specifically the amino acids lysine and tryptophan.
As a result, harmful substances may accumulate in the brain and body, and if left untreated, it may cause brain damage or physical disabilities.
Anamix Neutral GA1 milk is an ideal choice for the nutrition of children with Glutaric Aciduria Type 1, as it is lysine-free and low-tryptophan.
