Pentolite eye drops contain the active ingredient CycloPentolate Hydrochloride. It is an anticholinergic agent that dilates the pupil and paralyzes the ciliary muscle (cycloplegia).

Pentolite eye drops are used to enlarge (dilate) the pupil of the eye before an ophthalmic examination.
Dosage

The usual dose is 1–2 drops in the eye, which may be repeated within 5–10 minutes if necessary.

The effects of the drops typically wear off with full recovery within 24 hours, though complete recovery from pupil dilation may take a few days for some individuals.
Side Effects
Pentolite eye drops may cause some side effects, such as:

Keratitis (inflammation of the cornea).

Contraindications
Do not use Pentolite eye drops in cases of:
