Proton ingredients

Proton drug contains the active substance "omeprazole", a proton pump inhibitor, which helps reduce stomach acid secretion and treat oesophageal reflux.

Proton uses

Proton is used to treat:

• Gastroesophageal reflux symptoms, such as heartburn.

• Gastric ulcers.

• Duodenal ulcers

• Erosive oesophagitis.

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome or diseases that cause increased gastric acid secretion.

• Helicobacter pylori.

Proton 20 mg dosage

• The usual dosage is one 20 mg tablet per day.

• The drug is not used for more than two weeks without consulting a doctor.

When does the Proton effect begin?

It can take 1 - 4 days for the drug to become effective in relieving symptoms.

Proton side effects

Proton may cause some side effects, such as:

• Diarrhea.

Proton contraindications
