What is Triopan?

Mucolytic and expectorant syrup, which helps alleviate respiratory tract inflammation associated with cough. Every 100 ml of Triopan contains:

• 0.75 ml dry ivy leaf extract.

• 1g dry thyme extract.

Triopan uses

Triopan is used to treat cough, especially with wet cough, as it is mucolytic and expectorant.

Dosage

• Shake well before use.

• Children 6 years and over: 5 ml (teaspoon) 3 times daily.

• Adults: 5 - 7.5 ml 3 times daily.

Triopan Side Effects

• Nausea.

• Vomiting.

• Diarrhea.

• Shortness of breath, redness of skin and itching in case of allergies to the drug.

Triopan contraindications

Triopan is not used in case of:

• Sensitivity to its ingredients.

• Children under 6 years of age.
